Why Photography?

My journey with photography has been a constant struggle, yet an undying passion. It all began with the influence of my father, who, despite being an emergency room doctor by profession, harbored the soul of a true artist. From a young age, he immersed me in the world of film, cameras, art, and music. Our home was filled with his photographs from his adventures, each image a testament to his artistic vision.

My portfolio, named PhotosbyCasomb (inspired by my instagram account @photosbycasomb) is a reflection of my life in NYC, the people I meet, and the adventures I take; each image is a testament to the profound impact they’ve all had on my artistic growth.
